Nurul Hoda. - yes, i am md nurul hoda born and brought up from this village. it is the village of jamindar. high school. post office, health centre madrasha, durga mandir all are situated here this village. it is my pleasure that iam working in this high school as a cleark. as per the geographical view, mainly the cultivation is the source of living of the villagers. we need big water reserver to cultivate in proper way being a drought pron area. paddy , master seed and wheat is the main corp.

Fazle Kabir - khanpur is a reputed village under rampurhat sub-division of birbhum district in west bengal. the village is named after khan bahadur qudrotullah of mughal origin, founder of this village. khanpur is primarily popular for its' 'zamindar' family and rich culture. my grandfather, abu muzaffaruddin alias md. yusuf was the last zamindar of this village and my father zafir hasnine was his only son. this village is one the rarest villages in birbhum district where a high school with hostel for sc & st students (up to class - x) and a post office are present for more than 50 years. my grandfather gifted a plot to hindus for building up a durga mandir in the village, locally know as bhagawati tala and till now it is the only durga mandir in the village. one can still find grave of md. qudrotullah at muslim graveyard, phoolbari, it is huge. khanpur eid-gah is very famous in the neighbourhood, muslims of 14 villages used to perform namaz on eid & qurbani festival. family members of zamindar family are know as khanpurer mia in the entire district. there are 2 famous hindu families known as biswas & dutta families in the sub-division. my family is moved out from this village and settled at chatra, a small town at a distance of 7 km and kolkata for last 26 years. original (old) jama masjid of khanpur is almost 100 years old. you will find, jolha community of bihar in this village and some pathans too.
