Sunil verma - khetikhan is very beautiful place, it is full of natural beauty, we can see the great himalaya as well as panchachuli peak clearly from here, it's location is very attractive due to which few films like salami, ishq mein jeena ishq mein marna were pictured overthere, tea garden, sanjay taal, surya mandir, sidh baba mandir, jagoli baba mandir, banasur fort, pancheshwar, mayawati ashram, abort mount are nearby places to visit. it is the best place for yaoga & maditation as it's climate is very healthy , it is 6000ft above from the msl. in winters you can enjoy snow fall here. this place was visited by many eminient personalities like swami vivekanand , lal bahadur shastri, pt. govind ballabh pant & first guru of sikh religion guru nanak dev ji with his deciples how to reach- transportation for khetikhan is very easy , it is 148km far from haldwani & 90km far from tanakpur, the nearest railway station is tanakpur, you can also reach easily via road from kathgodam railway station. nearest airport (naini seini pithoragarh) is just at 74km far from here. please visit this place once & you will love to visit here again & again.

Anonymous - dhernath temple where guru nanak dev ji is said to have visited. the nearby lord shiva temple in deep forest reminds of the war between lord krishna and vanasur, whose fort is also situated. lord shiva sided with vanasur.

Nishant Kharkwal - khetikhan is historical place, there is a village named oligaon it is historic land of indian freedom fighter.the culture of this place is very beautiful there is famous temple named jagoli baba temple it known for his miracles. the location of this temple is really nice.
