Shivkumar Sharma From Khudan - khudan is a renowned village in the heartland of haryana founded by forefathers of "dada sitaram" brahmins migrating from village pahasor(badli/jhajjar rd). 1st settling at isarahera later shiftnig to present higher location as sahibi river water flooded areas around it before ending at faraknagar. they brought two punia bros from bikaner & divided two "paanas (or areas) for them to settle by ploughing ",khud"in the middle of the village from which it got its name as khudan. it was so bountiful and progressive that all religion, caste and tradesmen namely khati, vyas, lohar,maniyar, dhobi teli, nai, sakka hedi sheikh niwaja ,khwaja, kapadi, leelgar, koonjare,doom came & settled and lived peacefully there. it had many distinctions, it had a renowned takiya for soofi sant ., besides being nityanand swami's abode, an ancient original shivling statue was discovered on deep digging which was installed in shiv mandir with due rituals by highest hindu guru himself from shringeri peeth. and people from far and wide come in large numbers on shivratri to offer puja. renowned seeded wrestler bakhtawar singh who defeated russian & iranian wrestlers was from khudan. topmost person naval architect heading european consortium of shipbuilding in dylan (china) is from khudan , born in khudan engineer from kharagpur/berkelay(usa). persons born in khudan educated from khudan/subana school have topped institutions allover the world, including,korea & doctors in usa .in their own field. tehsil records of jhajjar will reveal more details about the past glory of khudan
