jaspalon was settled by the elders from village sankhatra didst. syalkot punjab now in pakistan, about 750 years ago by baba jaspal. the early settlements were on the northern bank of river satluj then later shifted to the present place. the satluj changed corse overnight as per elders information. there is two khalsa high schools, hospital,stadium, telephone exchange, bank,gurdawra, shive mander and a masque in the village. village is linked to nh 1 by one and half kilometre and also served by two bus routs.there is lot more about the village.
