Yeruva venkateswararao - vengalayapalli is located in p.c.palli mandal of prakasam dist. around 1500 population is residing in the village. the main occupation of the people of this village is agriculture. agriculture is mainly based on monsoons. no irrigation facilities are available. most of the people migrate to other areas such as hyderabad, guntur, bhilai, chennai and telangana insearch of lively hood doing different kinds of odd jobs. majority of the people in the village belonged to kamma (chowdary)community in hindu religion.more than 80% of the population is literates. one of the most educated people living village. people give much priority to educating their children. it is a drought prone village. less rain fall and frequent famines are common in this village. at least one or two members from each family migrate to other areas for earning bread. "ellamma" temple is located in the village. ellamma is deity of some families in the village. they celebrate "kolupulu" once in every 12 years.they celebrate this by offering animal sacrifices to ellamma so that they believe that some thing good will fall to their families.
