Sushma Nigam Das - this place also has links to the british rule in india. the british army often used this place for their transit camping when they impressed and lured the local inhabitants with fruits, food items and friendly talks. these inhabitants, who were simple enough, had nicknamed them "lal guddi"

Sushma Nigam Das - the rss hold can be traced back on this place. men, old and young gathered at a ground near a small lake (talaiya) faithfully everyday in the morning for the related regular exercises which were termed as "shakha".they also had a uniform for this, white half-sleeve shirt, khaki(beige) knee length loose half pants and a white gandhi topi. about footwear there was no rigidity.
